Feeling like I couldn't trust anything I knew, at all.

And having the physical injuries to show for it, too - that it wasn't even real, but the hurt that came from it was. [ these adventures.... terrible. ]

In the end, though, I was able to rely on someone else to help me through. There's a lesson to be learned from that, I suppose. Still - what a mess.
