Well, I went to attempt to help Palamedes, as he made himself into a revenant attached to a piece of his skull and needed some assistance getting himself out of that situation. But then, as you're aware, I was murdered temporarily, and while I was being murdered I discovered I had inadvertently created a bubble on the river to supplement my false memories and drew ghosts of some of those who died at Canaan House into it. The ghost of Abigail Pent, the dead friend I mentioned, though I had hardly ever spoken to her while I was alive, noticed I was being haunted by a vicious spirit that wanted to take my body and had entered the bubble in order to assist me with that.
