We were in a ... labyrinth, they called it. Just me and Marie at first. Ran into two girls, going for some sort of treasure. One started immediately with the whole calling me a demon and shooting a gun at me, the other one was a bit more timid. Marie didn't care for that, we got in a scuffle. Suppose I learned my lesson from last time, I ended up killing the one that was being weird about the whole tiefling thing. In my defense, didn't think she'd go down that easy. She's the one that shot me in the arm and then stabbed me after I got the gun away from her.
Nah. Think Tsuru knew one, Claude the other. [ Tsuru's republican friend ... ] We ended up all together after a bit. Then of course, that's when we ran into you.

Ah, some guy I didn't recognize-- Silver hair, smug expression. He's the one that got my horn. Son of a bitch. I liked that one! It had the better curve to it.

Doesn't it sound like Claude's dream? The dream of people he knows, but they seemed fake? [...] I'm glad you saved the healing spell. I don't mind doing a task; keep it for if you get hurt at night.

He was a bit more chatty than you were, until the fireballs, as is typical I think, and yadda yadda, I had this knife thing I was supposed to use, so I stabbed him, and then I "died" a few times so on and so forth, Lucien stole my eyeball and choked me out, Marie has very bad aim, on and on, Caleb shows up again and has better fireball aim this time, erm, I finish ... stabbing him ... and it ended up alright! Everything was good. So there's that.

It wouldn't have helped much! It was gone by the time we left the labyrinth, and at that point I only had the eye and there's not so much you can do about it. See?

The way you treated me when we first met, it...it meant a lot to me. I have had very few people treat me with any kindness, and at that time I didn't especially remember any of them. Because of who you are and how you treat people, it is...easy to allow you to care, and to care about you in return, without fearing that my vulnerabilities will be turned against me, and that is also something that has always been very difficult for me.

You have taught me to accept receiving things I have needed quite badly and you have molded me into someone who is more capable of extending my hand to others, and for that I am very grateful to you, Mollymauk.
anyway she can't see his face because she's being hugged, but she can probably definitely tell that he does that like. hiccupy-laugh people do when they aren't quite sure what to do with all of the emotion at once. ]
