It is real. I assumed a replica, but if you look closely enough, you can see how porous it is. Not easily replicated.

Of course I know a lot about bones. This is barely the surface of it.

You may, but I don't know that the answer will be very satisfying. It is an innate ability to be able to sense and manipulate the energy of dead things. Though I've had to learn specific techniques for mastery, if I hadn't been born with the aptitude no technique would suffice.

Puppet is one way of putting it. There are limits to my reserves of power, but very few.
