I don't think anyone who died here would be stupid enough to get their hopes up right at the finish line, anyway. What have you got so far?

Hmm. Well, for one thing, I think we thought it might serve to suggest you be allowed to compete as a form of vengeance. We thought killing you would help us win - but at the last moment, we are forced to tolerate your inclusion as well.

Most of us have been talking quite loudly about how idiotic it was for Bucky to kill for an invitation. I have my doubts he would believe this...

We are not trying to fool Satan, necessarily...

We're already invited to the actual party. It's not like you need to fool bouncers or anything.

That's correct. We were extended an official invitation last week, since a few people had been wheedling for an in even if it meant we were just there as guests and not as competitors.

[One less of a barrier to cross, and if nothing else, Scaramouche will at least have a great time watching the livingdead trip over 500 drinks trying to cross the finish line.]

So you're there. We just either need to let you compete, or come up with competition terms that help.

More or less, yes - that's roughly the last obstacle in the way. [A beat, and then:] Do you believe there's any room for negotiating for the personal demons, as well?

[Though he states this question more curiously than anything. He's aware that even attempting to come up with something for the doubledeadzos is already a lot.]

Mm. I think they are loyal to Lord Satan and do not want to advocate too strongly for themselves.

That, and I'd be hard-pressed to want to rely on any of us if I were them, too, considering how the majority of people seem to have handled them in general.
