Gideon and I will be going with Bixing, at least for the time being. I have responsibilities to the Ninth House, but it will take me some time to prepare for that.

Understandable. Being given a bit of room to plan things out is an unexpected upside to this mess, honestly.

It is. I failed miserably last time, but I don't intend to make the same mistakes again. I won't bring us back if the cost of winning will be my or gideon's death.

That's one trump card about dying from your mistakes once and coming back from them. You know exactly what to avoid.
