Yes. That thought has occurred to me as well. They put on an act of cruelty, but it is all quite surface level. Only one of them has managed to say something truly cutting, and I suspect it was by accident.

It is a bit disappointing.

Some of them seem more sadistic than others, but I'd say it's just them having terrible personalities rather than being intentionally torturous. They're not even demons, you know - I'm pretty sure they aren't.

I think it's highly likely, to be honest. Not that I know what, but it's almost like some of them forget that they're meant to be demons sometimes.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were just like us, but perhaps hired from a longer-stayed group.

That does sound like it aligns with hell in general, as we've seen it. But I think they more or less got recruited...
