6. You open the door and find yourself inside an art studio. The door vanishes behind you; in front of you, there is a canvas, and beyond that, there is a space for a model to strike a pose. One of you must paint the other, using paints in very specific shades. Once the painting is finished, you both find yourselves back out in the hallway, disoriented. Only four minutes have passed, but the subject of the painting will find themselves overwhelmed by the emotions corresponding to the colors they were painted with for half an hour after emerging from the room.
[ Ask an obvious question, get an obvious answer... He did hope. It was futile hope. ]
... Well, we are currently lacking in a true black, but that is not an issue some blues and browns cannot fix. 'Tis best to mix the colors in that fashion, anyroad—black has a way of muddying the palette.
[ "is he blabbing on about color theory?" unfortunately yes. ]
Now, let us see here... hmm... All right, I think I've got it. Pray pose in a manner that is most comfortable for you, Harrowhark, and I shall begin.
Just about done. Only a couple more strokes, aaandβ¦
[ one brush stroke, two brush strokeβ ]
I believe it now finished! What do you think?
[ When she comes to look, Harrow will see a portrait of herselfβ¦ that is actually really good? Itβs quite spot on, made up of blues and purples primarily for a bit of artistic license. Alphinaud has clearly spent a long time painting portraits. ]
[she still grimaces a bit to see her painted there in all her awkward glory, but the colors are nice. in fact, after a moment, she abruptly starts to tear up.]

... Hm! Worry not, Harrowhark—if you'd prefer, I shall take over the painting side of matters, and you need only sit and wait.
no subject
[apparently that matters. She will sit, then.]
no subject
[ As she sits, Alphinaud picks up the palette, looking over the colors. ]
Now, to begin with... What colors do you like best?
no subject
