I fear to say this, in case someone dear to me turns out to be involved. But there may be good reason to destroy both shadows, and save a hostage in the bargain. Killing someone at trial does suffice to secure a hostage's life.
Considering my last week, I understand. [ tiredly, but with annoyance at the situation. ] We can keep an eye on things throughout trial. It would be nice to say if killing someone kills the shadow, we could perhaps benefit from the idea, if we have that certainty.
