The dead are apparently asking many questions about the missing bodies. Please know that the actual answer is one that is certain to be...upsetting to some of them, so I have chosen to tell them that I do not know what happened.
I genuinely don't think it matters, but in case you have occasion where you need to know, I will tell you that they have been in some sense... consumed, by an unrelated party. But I have ensured that portions of their remains have been returned to their graves.
I would suggest you don't tell them any of this, since it don't see how it would do any good. But at least someone over there will know what's going on if it later becomes important. It isn't happening anymore.
[ he listens calmly, and inclines his head in a nod. he has a suspicion, but, honestly, it isn't any of his business. ]
Not a word to be said to any of them. I'll try to get them to stop fussing over it, regardless, especially as their remains have been returned in some capacity.
You and I both know, in different situations, that you don't necessarily need an entire body for a revival, I suspect.
We literally saw it happen today. If they can kidnap gods but can't regrow a body from a perfectly preserved sample of bone I don't know what they're doing over there.
When it comes down to it, you and I could easily fix the issue. I gave Kaeya a new eye and suspect I'll have to get Diluc one, as well, once this is over.
I will practice regrowing eyes on Molly. I do want to improve at flesh. You would not think there are times when bone does not suffice, but sometimes it does not.
