Well - look, philosophically to me, whatever that guy was doing isn't me. It's some other person. So suppose I don't have to care what he did or didn't do.

Fair enough, I guess. You uh, you might want to care a little bit, just in case someone decides you're responsible for whatever, though. Just a thought.

Responsible for what? Can't be responsible for things that I didn't do.
