I didn't name him, and he's not my pet! Well - technically, he is, in that we live in the same house, but he belongs to [ ... ] ...my roommate, who has a really interesting sense of what to name things.
Though, I guess to his credit, he is popcorn colored. Hard to miss! Except when he's hiding.
[ he squats down to look under the couch... and then makes an aha! noise! ] But it doesn't seem to be. He's a meter long - and you can see him under here, if you look. An apex predator, in his not-so-natural habitat of being anxious of everything around us.
[ sure enough, at the back of the couch against the wall, there is a slithering yellow and white line that appears to be trying to shrink itself into a corner.
