The party is not the concern. We need to focus our efforts on a proposal which will satisfy Lord Satan. He has no reason to help us if there is no benefit to him.

[unfortunately chandra is mean about satan] He has been trying to change the system in favour of reviving more of the dead, so all things considered, he'd probably say yes if he could.
It is, as you said, satisfying the rest of Hell's desire for blood and suffering.
He is, but I still suspect we ought not to trifle with him. To be friendly and gregarious yet to still remain in his position suggests to me certain qualities that are likely more dangerous than they appear.
But yes - some sort of trick to satisfy Hell is what we seek to achieve.
As long as no one approaches the proposal from a naive, moralistic perspective, as I doubt he'd appreciate that. [a beat] To quote him on why he liked us—at least those of who died again here—"none of you guys are yelling at me as if I killed you myself or asking for special exceptions on what's already an exception. Or breathing down my neck about public approval on this project and blah blah blah tradition, policy, etc."
Well, the flip side is that apparently there were still plenty of people in the last few weeks who believed that he was masterminding every death and issue, including those who arrived on our side, so probably better to get it out before the party.
Hmm. I admit I also did not believe certain things happened by accident, but...if this is all a ruse, there's no chance of escape, so it isn't worth considering.
I had my doubts in the first weeks as well, and it's still all rather dubious for a series of coincidences, but you're correct in that it serves no practical purpose to go down that rabbit hole at this point.
At the very least, even on our end with all the details of how the deaths went down and each killer's reasons for it, we never did discover any signs of manipulations pointing to anyone.
Indeed. It might make some feel better about themselves, but what matters most is practical results. If defiance doesn't work, work even with your enemy if you have to.
Careful, that's just asking this place to drag you into another excursion. But as long as your plans take that into account, then hope for whatever you wish.
I am not afraid. My necromancy is no longer blocked. The excursion we were on would have been quite simple, if I hadn't been forced to rely on that crown.
For your sake, I hope that's coming from a place of logic and not arrogance.
