It is the most infuriating aspect. I suppose intended to create an equal field, and though I must admit that my full power would be rather problematic for anyone who intended to kill me, it isn't as though anyone's sword arm has been reduced to uselessness.
'Tis somewhat uneven, is it not. Even unarmed, someone trained in physical combat ought to manage well enough, while those of primarily magical or technological means find themselves at a distinct disadvantage.
I shall hope, however, that there is little need for such capabilities, despite the places we seem to have in common.
It's needed. If not for combat, for show. But I've grown accustomed to it and adapted. Believe you me, no one on the space station ever thought me an easy target.
