[harrow is in the restaurant sometime saturday morning, receiving a breakfast plate with a cup of coffee and some porridge. she takes a sip of coffee and makes a horrible face.]
[ he's out in the memorial hall of camp, arms crossed against his chest as he looks at the old, clay figures in their cases. or maybe more accurately, he's got his eye on the now dry bouquets resting amongst the dead. there's some broken glass on the ground, and blood on one of his hands, but he speaks calmly enough. ]
[sometime on wednesday after the mini-event, harrow has changed out of her kimono. now, she is back in her dark black pants and button down, but she is standing very near the costume area. when she spots dimitri, she sighs, but approaches him.]
[ as long as it's not weirder than ichinose asking for his underwear in seasons, it's probably fine. he's here to pick up a jacket less covered in paint.
[after trial, harrow can be found somewhere near the pool, probably on her way to talk to someone. she's still chewing her lip so much it's starting to bleed a bit, but she looks up when she sees dimitri.]
Dimitri. Are you...how are you faring? [how's the ol' brain.]
[ sometimes you get stressed enough and bleed. dimitri's jelly brain has solidified enough that he looks slightly horrified when she asks after him, bowing his head briefly. ]
Harrowhark. I apologize for... derailing trial as I did today.
[harrow hardly gets far on monday. she can stay in her room, but eventually even she will find the need to come out to eat. she goes to the restaurant and has breakfast and coffee brought to her. but before she can return to her room, she runs into dimitri.
and a memory will play. by the time it ends, harrow has put down her coffee, running her hands down her painted face, smearing the paint.]
[ likewise, he's just stopping in for some tea, which is now just spilled on the ground.
it's an intense memory. he does not know the full brunt of her suffering, but it shares enough. he gives her a moment before speaking carefully, and without judgment. he knows how it is. ]
[ he's just hanging out near the elevator for a second. the common room is behind them, with the cheese whiz hot tub gently bubbling in the background. ]
Say, Harrowhark, this was your previous stay, correct? Is there anywhere worth seeing?
[the door has been left partway open! harrow's room is bad. it is like the darkest, gothest, most uncomfortable monastery you’ve ever seen, with a very dark and witchy vibe but also not comfortable or nice at all. it's lit only by candles and the only decoration is bones. there’s a fairly large bed with a dark veil all around it, it looks dramatic but it’s not very soft. the decor of the bed is bone themed as well. there’s an old fashioned wood writing desk with some paper, pens, and books, weirdly a couple titty mags. in the corner there’s a little chair (bone themed) for reading in, and a fairly small closet that contains a lot of black outfits and a little station for doing face paint.
other than that there’s just a lot of skeletons all around? some complete skeletons, some bone fragments or broken skeletons, some skeletons just hanging from the ceiling. other skeletons just in a pile on the floor.
she's lying on the bed! it is a rare instance where she does not have face paint on except for sort of a vague smear of blood in the usual shapes of the dark part of her paint.]
[yeah, it's a bad one. she's limping slightly, and her facepaint is done, but still fairly bare; just a light coat of paint that avoids a burn on her cheek.]
Not particularly, I'm afraid. [a heavy sigh.] In the housekeeping room, it was extremely hot, the further in we went.
[hello, he can come into her room that just is filled with bones. she'll let him in; she's obviously been crying and her facepaint is a mess, but she's made an effort to stop for now.]
[ cup nunu... he's looking a little ragged when she walks in, but can't help a short little bark of laughter. ]
...You know, I do not enjoy eating. [ seems like he can admit that since he's dying tomorrow ] But I think this will make a fine last meal. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
