[he gives her a wave, though he looks interested as he watches the water pour.]
I wonder how they do that... [but anyways.] Hi, Harrowhark. By the way, do you want me to call you that every time, or is Harrow or something okay, too?
[I got 6! Harrow is out in the hallway, inspecting the door before making the decision finally to open it. She tugs it open, and inside there are...two funerals happening?]
Wait, is that...?
[at least half of this room is taking place in some sort of rocky cavern, where people in dark black robes, shorn heads, and skeleton face paint are all wailing and tearing their robes surrounding a corpse on the ground.]
[on the opposite side of the room, there's a group of people standing around a coffin in a mausoleum quietly - some crying, but the setting is very different than her side.
he walks in, but as he sees the interior of the room, his eyes are naturally pulled to the cave first.]
...Harrow?
[there's concern in his voice, but he hasn't really figured out what's going on yet.]
[after trial, harrow can be found near the pool, sitting on the edge and dipping her feet into the cold water, lost in thought. she looks up when rupert approaches, her expression turning into something like a grimace after a moment.]
I know that back at the school, he defended himself when someone tried to kill him, but I've never seen him in this situation before, so I can't say whether or not he would have ordinarily done that. That being said, though...
[after a thoughtful pause:]
The way that he kind of... seemed to calm down, I guess, after the verdict was read makes me think he was being influenced by something. I'm going to talk to him later, and he said he would explain, so - hopefully he actually can talk about it.
[i'm having fun being a player in the prism so that's where we're going. the random location generator when they step through the door takes them to...the art studio.]
...These locations are odd. The last place I was in was a volcano.
[he doesn't actually know if there's a safe kind of volcano, so he sounds concerned regardless, but he does look around the studio with some curiosity.]
[sunday afternoon, after the execution, harrow can be found at the restaurant, having a meal. its definitely something very sad, like bread and broth. but here she is.]
[he's wandering into all the new locations, but when he reaches the simulation room... he can't recall seeing something like this back in the school even through the baby monitors, and he's not familiar enough with technology to know what it might function as. so when he sees harrow enter, he glances back towards her, curious.]
[wandering around about an hour or so after the announcement with a frown on his face. his hair seems wet, like it was just recently washed, but he turns her way when he sees her.]
[by now, he's realized what's going on, but he's so intent on getting to where he's going quickly that he doesn't notice when he turns a corner that harrow is there in the hallway. suddenly, they're close enough that as the stardust settles around them, they'll experience a memory.
his breathing is quickening even before it's over as he brings a hand up to his mouth, paling slightly as if he's just seen a mass of ghosts.]
[harrow is on the station, at the dog park. she's not really a dog person, so it's unclear why she came here, but she's sitting on the ground in the park. occasionally a dog will come up to her and she'll try to shoo them away.]
harrow's room is bad. it is like the darkest, gothest, most uncomfortable monastery youโve ever seen, with a very dark and witchy vibe but also not comfortable or nice at all. it's lit only by candles and the only decoration is bones. thereโs a fairly large bed with a dark veil all around it, it looks dramatic but itโs not very soft. the decor of the bed is bone themed as well. thereโs an old fashioned wood writing desk with some paper, pens, and books, weirdly a couple titty mags. in the corner thereโs a little chair (bone themed) for reading in, and a fairly small closet that contains a lot of black outfits and a little station for doing face paint.
other than that thereโs just a lot of skeletons all around? some complete skeletons, some bone fragments or broken skeletons, some skeletons just hanging from the ceiling. other skeletons just in a pile on the floor.
she is lying in bed. unusually for her, she isn't wearing face paint, she just has blood smeared on her face in the shape of a skull.]
